Inclusivity and Diversity

The value of Play

Play and interest-based activities support the development of critical cognitive, social and communication skills.

A holistic approach that acknowledges the interconnectedness of play and learning.

Positive Behaviour Support

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an individualised, evidence-based approach that aims to improve quality of life.

PBS supports families to build practical strategies, strengthen communication, and teach new skills that reduce stress at home and in everyday settings. By adjusting environments and increasing predictable, supportive responses, children and young people are more likely to feel safe, understood, and regulated — reducing the need for distress-based behaviours.

We offer NDIS Specialist Behaviour Support, partnering closely with caregivers and educators to build confidence, capacity, and sustainable strategies that actually work.

Play-Based Therapy

Play-based therapy is a therapeutic approach that taps into children’s most natural means of learning and expression – PLAY.

This therapeutic and educational approach uses play as the primary mode for learning and development. It is evidence-based and considered best practice in child development.

It supports children in a natural, enjoyable way to build cognitive, social, motor, communication and emotional skills through guided play, games and sensory exploration.

Play-based therapy:

  • supports whole-child development

  • creates engagement and motivation

  • is strength-based

  • is developmentally appropriate

  • is flexible and inclusive

Who are we?

Zoe is a neurodivergent Developmental Educator and Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner.

She helps children, families and educators to understand and respect how the neurodivergent brain works. Providing early intervention, strategies, and learning that work with the child’s brain, rather than against it.

She has over 15 years’ experience working with children, young people, and families across education, disability, behaviour support, early intervention, child protection, and family support settings.

Her approach is grounded in inclusive, person-centred practice and informed by her lived experience of disability.
